The Shubert Foundation is the nation’s largest funder dedicated to unrestricted funding of not-for-profit theatres and dance companies.

As an integral part of its mission, Ballet Arizona strives to improve the quality of life and the health of Arizona residents by engaging the community through dance, both as audience members and new dancers. They serve individuals primarily in Maricopa County and deliver engaging programming that has far-reaching appeal to people from all walks of life. By ensuring that they reach community members who may not otherwise have access to dance, Ballet Arizona successfully engages approximately 74,000 people each year through ticketed performances, targeted community engagement, and dance instruction.
