Grantor Name: Representative Yassamin Ansari’s Community Project Funding

Program Name: Reentry Prosperity Model

Grant Amount: $1,008,000

Recipient Name: Arouet Foundation

Overview of Use of Funds: Good Works Grant Writing is excited to congratulate our client, Arouet Foundation (Arouet), on being selected to receive a $1,008,000 grant from Representative Yassamin Ansari’s Community Project Funding (CPF)! This generous government grant will provide support for Arouet to strategically expand their comprehensive Reentry Prosperity Model’s wrap-around solutions for justice-impacted Arizona women. During 2026, CPF will instrumentally support the following four specific enhancements to Arouet’s Reentry Prosperity Model: 1) the introduction of their Welcome Home Center, 2) the evaluation-informed growth of their Healthcare Navigation Services, 3) the growth of their post-release CASE Academy offerings, and 4) the expansion of their pre-release Fair Chance Townhalls.

Overview of Grant Objective/Impact: By supporting targeted improvements to their Reentry Prosperity Model’s existing four phases, Representative Ansari’s CPF award will critically enable Arouet to grow their participant capacity by 50%. This CPF award will allow Arouet to engage up to 600 justice-impacted Arizona women in one or more of their 2026 Reentry Prosperity Model’s four phases (1: Pre-Release, 2: Reentry, 3: Post-Release, 4: Continued Engagement). A strategic investment in Arizona’s long-term public safety, economic resilience, and workforce development, funding the expansion of Arouet’s Reentry Prosperity Model will generate measurable public benefit by addressing one of the state’s most urgent and overlooked challenges: the destabilizing impact of female incarceration and reentry on families, communities, and public systems. While Arizona’s three-year recidivism rate is 36.4%, participants in Arouet’s Reentry Prosperity Model recidivate at a rate of just 2% over 3 years—demonstrating the transformative potential of a gender-responsive, wraparound approach.
