Overview of Use of Funds: Good Works Grant Writing is excited to congratulate our client, ICAN, on being selected to receive a $670,000 grant from the Chandler Compadres! This foundation grant will provide support for ICAN’s 2025-26 Positive Youth Development Program, which serves youth from Chandler neighborhoods with limited resources through free, innovative out-of-school time programming that empowers students to thrive in a challenging world. As ICAN continues to offer meaningful programming for as many as 550 Chandler youth across three program sites, the Chandler Compadres’ support will allow them to keep pace with the increasing costs of running an out-of-school time program and position them to optimize their Chandler school sites in the coming years—all while keeping the program free for the families they serve.
Overview of Grant Objective/Impact: The Chandler Compadres’ support will help ICAN continue to provide its Positive Youth Development Program to Chandler youth, creating a lasting impact in our community. With an aim to address the critical community need for accessible out-of-school time programs that help students succeed in school and prepare for their futures, ICAN helps youth thrive academically, socially, and creatively through four key interconnected pillars:
