This generous corporate grant will provide support for Banner Health Foundation’s 2025-26 Youth Workforce Development Experiences, including 1) The Career Explorers Program, 2) Camp Scrubs, 3) Non-Clinical Internships, and 4) Career and Technical Education Clinical Rotations. With the Taco Bell Foundation’s support, Banner Health is poised to provide Arizona’s diverse youth with hands-on mentorship opportunities, helping them gain a better understanding of future career possibilities in healthcare. The ultimate goal of Banner Health’s 2025-26 Youth Workforce Development Experiences is to create new employment opportunities for young students who may not have otherwise considered or understood potential career options in healthcare.

Overview of Grant Objective/Impact: Banner Health aims to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Reach 7,500 high school students through targeted outreach and distribution of career materials highlighting career opportunities at Banner Health.
  • Engage 100 students who will complete full program immersion with hands-on technical training and skill-building.
  • Improve recruitment methods and participation rates among Hispanic and African American youth through direct outreach and mentoring.
